What should you do if you fail to bring a document required by the visa officer?

REMAIN PEACEFUL. Don't be alarmed. That is the first and most significant stage in the interview process. Speak up and admit that you forgot to bring such a document, but you can submit it later (the embassy may have a computer with a printer for public use upon authorization) or you may need to send a scan of the requested document after your interview to the official email ID that was provided to you at the interview time. The interview decision will thereafter be postponed.
